Internal quality assurance and accreditations
The Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) is a structured framework for monitoring and ensuring quality in all areas of the institution. It defines a plan of processes aimed at achieving and maintaining high standards of excellence, establishing the necessary procedures to guarantee an adequate level of quality.
SGIQ processes are classified into three categories:
- Strategic: they determine the policies to achieve the institutional mission.
- Key: They represent the institution's reason for being and what differentiates it from its competitors.
- Support: processes that sustain the entire system.
The SGIQ is based on the guidelines established in the Certification Guide of the Internal Quality Assurance System in Higher Education Centers of the AQU, 2023.

Institutional Accreditation
Institutional accreditation by the AQU (Agency for Quality Assurance in the Catalan University System) is an official recognition that certifies the quality of the internal quality assurance systems of a university or centre, and validates that all its official degrees (Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral degrees) have been positively assessed and accredited. This rigorous process guarantees that the institution complies with national and international quality standards, thus offering confidence and assurance to students, teaching staff and society in general about the excellence of the education provided and university management.

Internal Quality Assurance System Monitoring Reports
The SGIQ's annual reports are comprehensive documents that compile and analyze all relevant information on the quality of our institution and our official degrees during a specific academic year. They act as a detailed snapshot of our quality management, offering a panoramic view of our strengths and areas of improvement.
