eWorks Incubator

The eWorks Incubator is open to Esade students and alumni, as well as external participants with no previous connection to Esade.
The program is free and equity-free: there are no participation fees, and eWorks does not take equity in your project.

You do not need to have a fully developed startup idea, but you should have a problem or opportunity that you are interested in exploring.
The program will help you understand the problem, speak with professionals and potential customers and determine whether there is a promising solution worth developing.

Yes. Participants can join at different stages, from exploring a problem to testing an idea, developing an MVP or beyond.
Everyone begins by assessing their current progress and providing evidence of what they have already learned. If you have completed some of the early-stage work, you can move through the initial checkpoints and continue from the stage most relevant to your project.

The eWorks Incubator is an online, self-paced program running from October to May. It combines practical resources and suggested deliverables with a step-by-step journey and progress checkpoints.
You will begin with problem and customer discovery and advance by putting what you learn into practice and providing evidence of your progress. As you move forward, you can access relevant guidance, community activities and opportunities to connect with experts and peers.

The program is flexible and self-paced, so the time required will depend on your project and starting point. However, meaningful progress requires action: engaging with the resources, completing relevant deliverables, speaking with potential customers and testing your assumptions.
Participants are also expected to engage with the community, share experiences and look for opportunities to support and collaborate with their peers.

Participants receive access to:

• Practical entrepreneurial content, tools and suggested deliverables 
• Guidance from the eWorks team, domain experts and experienced professionals 
• Opportunities to connect and collaborate with other founders 
• Workshops, feedback sessions and selected eWorks activities 
• The wider Esade entrepreneurial community 
• eWorks co-working facilities in Barcelona and Sant Cugat 

Activities and support formats may vary throughout the program according to participants’ needs and progress.

The program generally runs from October to May, with applications opening in September.

The Incubator is designed for people who want to explore a problem, understand potential customers, test their assumptions and develop or validate an early-stage solution.
The Accelerator is intended for more mature projects that have already conducted substantial customer validation, tested and refined their solution, and are ready to focus on growth and their next strategic milestones.
If your project is still based mainly on assumptions, or you have built an MVP without sufficiently testing the underlying customer problem, the Incubator is likely the best place to start.
