No. You can apply with a project or a validated idea. A legally incorporated company is not required at the time of application or during the program.

No. You can keep your job, internship, or other professional commitments while participating in the accelerator. The program is designed to be compatible with other professional activities.

The program is fully online and delivered remotely. To obtain the micro-credential, you must attend at least 80% of the sessions. While this is the formal requirement, we strongly recommend dedicating meaningful time outside the sessions to get the most value from the program.

You can apply as an individual. You do not need to have a team at the time of application. However, you must be able to demonstrate that you can pursue the project in a serious and consistent way during the program, based on your skills and available resources, including the use of AI tools where relevant.

No. You do not need paying customers, revenues, or a patent. You can join with a validated idea, as long as you can demonstrate a clear problem and opportunity, meaningful validation, and the capability to pursue a solution during the program.

The eWorks Accelerator is completely equity-free. There is no program fee. A small administrative payment may be required only for the issuance of the official micro-credential. This payment is not a revenue source for the accelerator itself and is fully waived for Esade students and alumni, as Esade covers it on their behalf.

Yes—conditionally. As part of the program, projects that are ready for investors may receive introductions and direct access opportunities. Investor access is selective and depends on an assessment of the project’s maturity and its realistic investment potential.

Yes. Participants receive access to free and discounted tools and services through eWorks perks and partner offers. The list of tools and benefits may change over time, and availability is subject to partner terms.

No. There is no requirement to be physically in Barcelona. The program is fully online and can be followed remotely from anywhere. Most live sessions take place in late-evening European time, so participants should plan accordingly.

No. The program does not grant student status and cannot be used for visa purposes. You do not need a visa or EU work permit to participate in the program itself, as it is online. Participants are responsible for ensuring that their business and activities comply with the legal and regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions in which they operate, as specified in the program’s Terms and Conditions.

The program is delivered primarily in English. Some sessions or materials may also be available in Spanish, depending on the cohort and speakers.

3ECTS. they can be recognisable and potentially credit-bearing within the EU higher education ecosystem. Transfer is not automatic; each university decides whether to accept them.

Most sessions will take place between 5 and 8 p.m. Central European Time and mostly on Tuesday, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. Some optional activities can be scheduled at different times. Mentoring sessions are always to be agreed upon with the mentor, noting that the majority of mentors are on European times or US West Coast times.

The minimum time commitment required to obtain the certificate is between two and four hours per team member per week. However, we strongly encourage a much larger time commitment, as dedicating more time to the program leads to better results.

An interview may or may not be required, depending on factors such as whether the selection committee is already familiar with the team or if the team has participated in previous incubator events. These circumstances often reduce the necessity for an interview, but one can still be scheduled if clarification is needed.
