The main mission of the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CTL) is to promote excellence and innovation for teaching and student learning.
The center’s teaching approach is coherent and distinctive.
Four key areas
The CTL encompasses all areas of the educational experience and teaching innovations – with special emphasis on learning models. The center serves all of Esade (Business School, Law School and Executive Education) and is structured in four key areas:
Faculty Office for Innovation
This area carries out training and teaching consultancy tasks. In addition, it offers faculty resources to support teaching activities and promote innovation.
Excellence, Learning & Impact Measurement
This area supports continuous improvement in teaching methodologies, especially in the evaluation and monitoring of student learning – with excellence as the objective.
Learning Factory
This area designs the learning experience of programs and supports the production of materials, activities, and training resources – following our own teaching content model.
Learning Innovation, Technology & Spaces
This area designs our online and on-site learning spaces, incorporating the most strategic uses of technology and innovation in the academic and technological fields. The area also introduces new tools and software to enhance the learning experience.
