Program details

This micro-credential (2 ECTS) offers an intensive, hands-on experience to develop a creative, people-centered mindset by applying agile methodologies focused on solving complex problems in real-world contexts. Through this approach, participants will learn to identify real needs, generate innovative ideas, and create viable, desirable and sustainable solutions.

For four days, participants will work in teams to explore needs, devise innovative solutions and prototype proposals using user-centered tools. The program combines theory and practice through active methodologies, collaborative work and applied case studies, allowing participants to become familiar with a methodology they can easily apply in their daily work. Upon completion of the microcredential, participants will be equipped to apply this approach in areas such as business innovation in any sector, user-centered service design and the education and development of this new mindset within their teams.

This microcredential is ideal for professionals, students, and entrepreneurs who wish to strengthen their skills in innovation, creative thinking, and user-centered decision-making, adding value in changing and highly competitive environments.

Academic information

The course lasts four days, from Monday to Thursday, with half-day sessions in the morning or afternoon, depending on the edition.

This course develops critical thinking skills and mindsets for innovation. It uses a practical methodology that gives participants the opportunity to learn the five-stage Design Thinking process by applying it to a real-world project. It fosters creativity and entrepreneurial skills.

During the 20 hours of the course, participants will cover the following aspects:

Design Thinking as a tool for innovation

Learning to analyze a complex problem and which techniques to apply

Defining an innovation opportunity

Carrying out creative processes, such as ideation, to generate multiple innovative ideas

Creating a conceptual solution and developing a low-fidelity prototype

Conducting user tests to evaluate the validity of the solution

Qualification

The program provides access to a university microcredential, a university-specific degree issued by Ramon Llull University since the 2025/26 academic year.
