Research
We act as agents of knowledge, developing meaningful research in order to understand the challenges faced by our society and their possible solutions and alternatives.
The Esade Institute for Social Innovation strives to develop meaningful research, pedagogical content and educational programs, and to make interventions in the public sphere that will help students, citizens, social organizations and companies navigate the social challenges related to exclusion, vulnerability, precariousness and sustainability.
We act as agents of knowledge, developing meaningful research in order to understand the challenges faced by our society and their possible solutions and alternatives.
We ensure knowledge transfer and experience-based education through training programs to help our students develop and enhance their capacities as agents of change and thus contribute to improving society.
We contribute to social and academic debate, as well as to the design and development of different initiatives focused on reflection and the proposal of innovative solutions which have the potential to make an impact and achieve social transformation.
We strengthen the internal and external community of the Institute, co-creating initiatives, and we empower this community so it can become a driving force for change.
The management and coordination team of Esade’s Institute for Social Innovation is responsible for the daily operations of the center, as well as for defining its goals, strategy, resource allocation, and decision-making in project development.
The Institute’s team consists of influential Esade faculty with a proven track record in the fields of corporate social responsibility; responsible leadership models and social leadership; leadership and management in third-sector organisations; sustainability and climate change; ethnography; innovation models for social and environmental challenges; and applied ethics in the digital, social and business spheres, amongst others.
