The goal of the IIK is to play a leading role in answering key questions concerning the role of innovation, technology and knowledge in society. Our members grapple with challenges such as how companies and public institutions can innovate, create and manage knowledge and adapt to the advances of technology and societal changes.
Across the Institute, we are exploring a number of important research subjects, including adaptation to technological discontinuity, digitalization, servitization, open innovation and open science, smart cities, disruptive innovation, service innovation, business model innovation, knowledge management and patent strategy.
