About the program
The 0waste Accelerator is a selective program that aims to support high-growth ideas to promote sustainability, with a specific focus on waste management and its transformation into raw materials. If you’re working on a sustainability-related project and want to have a major impact on our planet, apply to this program.
The call for program applications opens once a year, while the program is run during the summer (June to September).
The program is equity-free, delivered in English and entirely online.
The eWorks Accelerator program run once a year throughout summer, it’s 100% online, conducted in English, and equity-free. If selected, you'll receive mentorship from successful entrepreneurs, over 10,000€ in resources and tools, workshops with experts, a lifetime community membership, and the chance to pitch to international investors on Demo Day. If you're in Barcelona, you can also use our eWorks facilities.

Collaboration and support
eWorks and the Esade Center for Social Impact have joined forces to launch the 0Waste Accelerator to support the creation and development of innovative and sustainable businesses.
The program helps social entrepreneurs take their sustainable business ideas to the next level by building or strengthening their business plans through the application of design thinking methodologies and with the support of mentors experienced in startup growth, sustainability and social impact creation and management.
This program is part of the Hub B30, Beyond Circularity Project that aims to go beyond the circular economy concept and move towards a model in which all waste can be transformed into raw materials to maximize sustainability. This is a PECT project (Specialization and Territorial Competitiveness Project) financed by the European Union. Its mission is to find innovative business solutions that promote sustainability in the B30 highway area.
Along with the municipalities of Mollet del Vallès and Cerdanyola del Vallès, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, PRUAB and EURECAT, Esade aims to generate ideas capable of transforming waste into raw materials, ideas that can grow fast and be replicated throughout Europe.
The acceleration program comes at the end of an entire path that starts with a hackathon followed by a pre-acceleration program. You can join the accelerator directly if your startup has already achieved some validation.
