Sant Jordi is upon us. Even though the holiday falls on a Sunday this year, ESADE wanted to celebrate the occasion, so the school organised various on-campus activities before and after the Sant Jordi holiday.

On Friday, 21st April, ESADE set up several bookcrossing spots on its Barcelona-Pedralbes and Barcelona-Sant Cugat campuses. At these locations, passersby were free to take books they found interesting and to leave books that they have already read. Additionally, on Monday, 24th April, pianos will be set up on both campuses for anyone who wishes to play a tune. With this initiative, ESADE is once again taking part in the "outdoor pianos" campaign of the Maria Canals International Music Competition.

ESADE faculty members marked the holiday by recommending interesting books. Eugenia Bieto recommends The House of Wittgenstein by Alexander Waugh. Enric R. Bartlett suggests La presa de Sant Mateu del Maestrat pels anglesos a la Guerra de Successió by Enric Querol Coll. Prof. Marco Bertini recommends Virtual Competition by Ariel Ezrachi. Franc Carreras recommends Abundance: The Future is Better Than You Think by Peter Diamandis. Marc Cortés suggests Smart Cities, una visión para el ciudadano, by Marieta del Ribero. The recommendation of Antonio Delgado is Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor E. Frankl. Lisa Hehenberger suggests Innovation and Scaling for Impact by Christian Seelos and Johanna Mair. The recommendation of Prof. Lluís Martínez-Ribes is Las personas primero. #AlwaysPeopleFirst. Las claves de 10 años de éxito by Xavier Escales. Carles Torrecilla recommends Poder, economía y valores by Carles Comas, and Josep Francesc Valls suggests Homo Deus by Yuval Noah.
