180 Degrees Consulting Barcelona is the Esade chapter of 180 Degrees Consulting, the world’s largest student-run consultancy. We are a community of high-performing, socially driven students who use consulting to create measurable impact.

As Esade's leading consulting association, we work with non-profit organizations, social enterprises, and impact-driven startups, providing strategy consulting across areas such as market analysis, financial planning, impact measurement, and growth strategy.

Our teams are open to Bachelor’s and MSc students who want to apply their skills to real-world challenges while contributing to meaningful social change.

What we do

Our activities are built around three core pillars:

Who we are

Agora is a student-led platform that disseminates critical thinking in the Esade community. Its main objective is to organize events in which the opinion of our students, lecturers, and visiting experts is widely discussed and evaluated from a critical point of view.

What do we do

• Agora News. A fortnightly forum for debate that covers the key news in a globalized world – addressing financial, economic, political, social, and many other issues.
• We have recently organized several events with various personalities from different sectors, either on our own or with other Esade associations. For the upcoming year, we will continue inviting experts and sector leaders to gain a deeper understanding of a broad spectrum of business areas. We create synergies within the Esade community and collaborate with other associations. These ad hoc events will be organized throughout the year.

Why should you join us

Agora focuses on creating a space where critical thinking can spread on campus. It requires considerable effort, coherence, and sacrifice. Therefore, we are looking for capable and committed individuals who are interested in current affairs and want to add value for other students. To join the platform you should have a good level of English (Spanish is not mandatory but will be welcomed and considered a positive factor), be well-informed about current events, and demonstrate lateral thinking/case analysis skills, among other criteria.

Who are we

The Esade Student Council is the representative body for every Esade student. Composed of 15 members, it works to achieve a high level of representation and ensures that student needs are taken into consideration. It is divided into three departments: Community; Associations; and Marketing. These departments coordinate student associations, delegates, and organize some of the most emblematic events at Esade – such as the Campus Party, the Board Olympics, and association and delegate recognition events. 

What do we do

The main responsibilities of each department are:

• Associations: coordinate associations and distribute the annual budget.
• Marketing and communications: ensure that students are informed about events and news.
• Community: work towards representation and well-being.

Who we are

We are a junior enterprise whose mission is to offer Esade students the possibility to work in consulting projects which will help them develop their abilities, putting in practice everything learned in class and have their first contact with the business world and provide companies with fresh and innovative ideas with the rigor and Esade methodology.

What we do

• Consulting services: Our consulting services are the essence of Joventut. We are a team of consultants composed of 4 project managers who seek to offer companies new and innovative ideas from a young perspective with the rigor and Esade methodology.
• Innovation Quest. It is a 4-day event with 350 students where we have the participation of speakers, start-ups and multinational companies (CaixaBank, Colonial, Damm, Tous…) that propose a case for the final case competition. In the case competition, students are asked to deliver innovative solutions to the companies CEOs in order to be the final winners.
• Consulting Academy. It is a 2-week event where we have the participation of consulting firms such as McKinsey, Delta Partners, Oliver Wyman, BCG, Deloitte, NTT Data, among others to explain to students about how to work in a consulting firm and how is the methodology for solving a case. The last day, the 80 participants have the opportunity to solve a case for a company with the help of the company and the consultants.

Who we are

enode is designed for those who want to bridge the gap between business studies and technical execution. We focus specifically on quantitative finance and data science, providing a space for students to develop the high-level technical skills that modern global sectors demand. We don’t claim to be experts with all the answers; in fact, none of us are. We are a community that was founded on the belief that the best way to learn is by tackling complex systems that lie beyond the standard classroom curriculum, which should be treated only as a starting point. We are a group of students demanding more from our academic journey and, more importantly, from ourselves—prioritizing technical proficiency and rigor, as well as the implementation of high-fidelity projects.

What we do

All our work is rooted in rigor, and in a high expectation from our members’ diligence and proactiveness:

• enode Quant: This department focuses on the mechanics of quantitative finance. We study the math behind trading strategies (analysis, optimization, and stochastic processes) and build infrastructure to make our research reproducible and deployable.
• enode Research: This branch is dedicated to the "how" and "why" behind modern computing and data science and our work has ranged from replicating papers or architectures to developing projects of our own.
• Logistics and Marketing: Building a technical association requires more than just code. Our logistics and marketing members are the backbone of our external presence. They manage our "localhost" speaker series (our most important events), coordinate with industry professionals, and ensure that our research and projects reach the wider community. These roles are essential for transforming our internal work into high-profile, professional events.

Whatever branch you are interested in, the philosophy is largely the same:

• Education: Workshops on the fundamentals that aren't always covered in class led by experienced teachers.
• Peer Learning: Students are encouraged to create study groups of their own, lead their own workshops in any library, concept or paper they feel like they have mastered and, in short, to be each other’s teachers.
• Projects: The ultimate goal is to build a collective repository of work to help members develop a strong, showcaseable portfolio for careers in tech or academia.

We don’t select for expertise. None of us are even close to being experts in anything. Instead, we look for four traits that define our culture: curiosity, humility, grit, and commitment.

Who we are

Equal is a student-led association at esade, founded in 2017, dedicated to promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across different identities. Equal consists of four key departments: Events, which organizes internal conferences, fundraising initiatives, and awareness campaigns within esade; External Engagement, responsible for building partnerships and organizing events with external organizations and communities; Research, focused on producing newsletters, academic papers, and podcasts to share relevant insights; and Social Media, which handles communication strategies and works to raise awareness across various social media platforms.

What we do

Our association organizes Conferences & Roundtables with leading voices, ranging from advocates and authors to professionals and academics. We run Awareness Campaigns & Fundraising to support e.g. breast cancer research and the fight against gender-based violence. Through our Educational Initiatives on social media, we share weekly news, historical insights, and content focused on DEI. We also host Annual Events, including our flagship International Women’s Day celebrations. We collaborate with global organizations, NGOs, and foundations such as UN Women Spain (ONU Mujeres), Asociación Española Contra el Cáncer, Fundación Integra, and Open Arms, along with many others dedicated to advancing social impact and equity.

Who we are

Esade Motor offers students the opportunity to learn about business and other aspects of the motor industry, organising talks, careers and other events, such as Uniraid or Formula Student.

What we do

• Talk on UNIRAID, by Albert Margarit, president of UNIRAID.
• Participation as judges of the Business Plan of Formula Student Spain. Collaboration as assistants of a participating team of the Polytechnic University of Terrassa.
• Collaboration with the Alumni Automotive Club. With them, making talks and debates with senior executives of the automotive sector.
• Collaboration with other associations (Ágora, DAC, etc.). We believe that collaboration with other associations promotes networking and synergy between different sectors is positive.
• Collaboration with non-profit organizations to promote social and development aid.
• Informative talks or debates between participants in activities and competitions related to the world of the motor, or with businessmen of this sector.

What do we do   

At Esade Sales & Partnerships we offer a variety of activities and resources to prepare students for the commercial and sales world.

We organize workshops on negotiation and persuasion, sales simulation sessions, and conferences with industry professionals to share experiences and specialized knowledge. We also promote internal sales competitions, where students can apply their skills in a competitive environment. Additionally, we provide learning opportunities with experts that connect students with industry professionals for personalized guidance and advice.

Who are we

We are one of the most established associations at Esade and are committed to promoting and overseeing all sports activities at the university. Our primary goal is to cultivate a vibrant sports culture among students, both on and off campus. As well as organizing various events, we proudly support eight official Esade teams (including volleyball, tennis, padel, basketball, football, and cheerleading). We are dedicated to enhancing the sports experience at Esade, combining our passion and hard work with the positive energy that drives everything we do. 

What do we do

We focus on two key areas:

Managing Esade's nine official sports teams. Our comprehensive support includes organizing practices, coordinating travel plans, managing budgets, and serving as the primary liaison between the teams and Esade.

Organizing sports events for Esade students:

• Beach Volleyball Tournament: held in Castelldefels at the end of September. This event features teams competing in a series of matches, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship. The tournament attracts students of various nationalities and age groups with plenty of sunshine, music, games, and vibrant energy.
• Solidarity Run: we host a run to raise money for worthy causes while offering a day full of enjoyment and sport.
• International competitions: we travel with Esade's nine official teams to compete in international competitions in different countries. These events enable us to meet students from universities around the world, creating a positive experience for everyone involved.
• Sports Summit: this event focuses on the intersection of sports and business, and featuring insights from prominent figures such as Carlos Cantó, Jaume Alcover (Marketing Director at Baxi), Nacho Mas-Bagà (CEO of Girona FC), Judith Aldabo (America's Cup Partnership Director), and Jordi Bertomeu (former CEO of EuroLeague Basketball).
• World Cup Football: we host a dynamic football tournament that guarantees an energetic and friendly environment. Student teams, comprising both local and international players, compete on the field by showcasing their skills and teamwork. The event concludes with a DJ-curated playlist – creating the perfect ambiance for everyone.
• Esade Padel Tour: this padel tournament, held at Augusta in Sant Cugat, is organized specifically for Esade students. It offers an opportunity for friendly competition while fostering a sense of community among participants. Additionally, we host a "tardeo" at Augusta, featuring music and drinks for all participants and visitors.

Finance will open any door

Founded in 2013, the Esade Student Finance Society (ESFS) is the only finance society at Esade Business & Law School and the largest student-led finance society in Spain. With 110 active members across 10 departments, ESFS brings together students who want to seriously engage with the world of finance.

What we do

Events

Events are at the core of ESFS. We organize around 16 events every year, reaching more than 2,400 students and professionals. These range from technical workshops, competitions and recruitment events to large flagship conferences that bring together students, alumni, and industry professionals.

Our main events include the Esade Finance Summit, a full-day conference with leading finance speakers, the Finance Evening in Madrid, focused on alumni and industry networking, and Shark Tank Esade, where student-led startups from the best universities in the world pitch to Spanish investors. We also run investment and M&A competitions that allow members to apply finance in realistic settings.

Investments

In Q1 2026, ESFS will launch Esade’s first student-led investment fund, investing real money and managed entirely by students. The fund will focus on publicly listed US equities and is expected to reach €100,000 in assets under management by summer 2026.

Members involved in the fund gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, portfolio management, investment decision-making, and investor communication, closely mirroring how professional investment teams operate. 

Research

Our Research teams cover different sectors, we also have a quant team and a weekly podcast. We publish 24 reports per year in collaboration with Wall Street Oasis, giving our members exposure to an audience of over 3 million readers worldwide. Through research, members build strong analytical thinking, technical finance knowledge, and structured writing skills.

Talent Hub

Our Talent Hub connects ESFS members directly with the job market. We currently work with more than 20 partner companies, including finance firms and startups, that offer exclusive internship and job opportunities reserved for ESFS members. This includes off-cycle roles, fast-track processes, and tailored opportunities that are not publicly available.

Who are we

The Esade Student Law Society, simply known by its acronym ESLS, is the only Esade association exclusively dedicated to law. It is an association made by law enthusiasts for law enthusiasts. Its members are from different years and degree courses and are united by their passion for law. We aim to meet more peers with the same interests and bring this fascinating world closer to the rest of the university.

What do we do

ESLS is organized into four departments: one internal, which handles human resources, and three others that represent our public face. The newsletter department publishes a bi-monthly online collection of summaries of legal articles written by our writers. The projects department is a laboratory where we bring various ideas to life with talks, challenges, moot courts, and workshops that introduce law to the members of our faculty. Finally, the communications department manages the association's social media, which we use to promote ourselves and share information related to law.

EsTalent is an association formed by students (both scholarship recipients and non-recipients), with the goal of promoting academic talent within the Esade community. Through the organization of activities and events, we raise funds for the Scholarship Program, enabling more students to benefit from this financial support. Additionally, EsTalent fosters a vibrant university environment and contributes to enriching campus life, dedicating all proceeds from its initiatives to funding new scholarships.

What do we do

EsTalent organizes a variety of activities to foster the academic and professional talent of students. These events include the Law Competition, a legal competition where participants collaborate with renowned law firms to solve practical cases and so receive training on the fundamental aspects of everyday law. Additionally, we have initiatives focused on the international arena, such as Be the Change, a simulation of the European Parliament where various political parties are presented, and regulations on a specific topic are debated. We also organize the Case Competition, based on a real marketing problem from a well-known company. These activities allow students to develop key skills and connect with the professional world.

Who we are

IT Fashion is an Esade’s association whose aim is to approach people with interest in fashion to the business sector. Our team members are extremely passionate  about the fashion and textile industry as well as the business world, therefore, our objective is to combine both worlds in order to start introducing ourselves into the sector.

What we do

ITDAY: The day will be divided into two main parts: in the morning 3-4 talks will be given by companies in the fashion sector and / or designers to encourage debate among participants. The food would be served on the campus and in the afternoon a real case would be presented to the students of those interested companies and the students would be left for 2-3 hours to solve it in the teams previously created. Next, the proposals of the different teams in front of the company and the rest of the students would be presented in the auditorium of the campus. Finally, companies would choose a winning team to which it would be interesting to be able to give a letter of recommendation (from the company) and the possibility of visiting their facilities.

Who are we?

We are an association focused on international relations and economics. 

What do we do

We have three departments focusing on the main core areas within international relations. Firstly, critical thinking and writing skills are developed through our research department. The conference department expands the student community network within the realm of politics and encourages the development of opinions and knowledge. Lastly, our debate department focuses on policy making and public speaking skills through competitions and workshops.

Who are we

The Esade Life Science Association (LSA) connects students with the fast-evolving worlds of pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and biotechnology, with one clear mission: bridge the gap between life sciences and business.

Scientific innovation alone isn’t enough! The life science industry needs business-minded thinkers and legal expertise to bring breakthroughs to market, scale impact, and navigate complex regulatory landscapes. LSA exists to link that gap, helping students understand how strategy, finance, management, and regulation drive progress in healthcare.

What do we do

We don’t just study life sciences, we explore how business and law power the industry. Our initiatives combine industry exposure, hands-on learning, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Who are we

oikos Barcelona is a student association based at Esade which aims to introduce sustainability in economics and business administration education. It is part of the oikos International's global student network, made up of more than 50 local associations in more than 23 countries.
We encourage students to discover the opportunities and challenges that sustainability brings them in new business areas. To do this, we help our members implement their own projects and ideas.

What do we do

We divide our activity into three main pillars: education, impact and awareness.

• In the first pillar, education, we find the ‘curriculum change’, a project which deals with changing the academic syllabus together with Esade.
• In the second pillar, impact, we create initiatives that aim at having a real impact both in our local area, Barcelona, and internationally through oikos International. Here, we organize events to raise funds and donate them to the NGO of the year and workshops for children in local schools.
• In the last pillar, awareness, we plan events, talks, competitions, and projects whose objective is to raise awareness about current issues.

On the other hand, we have an entire department dedicated to consulting, oikos Consultancy. This has the objective of training members as consultants while carrying out projects for NGOs and companies that want to improve sustainability in their organization.

Who we are

We are an association that strives to become the greatest social community on Esade always inspired by the values of rugby; teamwork, respect, solidarity and integrity. European university rugby is well known and through our participation in international tournaments such as the WISC in Croatia or the ER7 in Lille, we  proudly represent Esade. Thanks to our diversity, we are a unique association which has members from all Esade programmes, creating a link between Pedralbes Campus, Sant Cugat and Master's students.

Oh, and one last thing; #GOLIONS!!

We train every week and we organize international tournaments, games against other Barcelona universities, team building activities, parties and charity events.

Who we are

We are TechLabs Barcelona, an interdisciplinary team from various study programmes – with and without tech backgrounds – but united in one mission: teaching digital skills to young tech enthusiasts, thus fostering a new generation of digital thinkers who will lay the groundwork for our digital future within their areas of expertise.

What we do

TechLabs Barcelona offers a platform, where students from all disciplines can acquire state-of-the-art tech skills that will  enable them to solve problems digitally and entrepreneurially. We react to the increasing need for coding expertise by offering comprehensive online curricula in the fields of web development, data science and artificial intelligence. At our regular meetups and workshops, students can exchange their tech ideas, get in touch with companies and work together on joint projects.

Who we are

The E3 Initiative association empowers entrepreneurship among Esade students. Our main goal is to promote an entrepreneurial mindset for the entire Esade community. We achieve this objective through the organization of events, workshops, and conferences that are focused on ideation, knowledge-creation, and networking. Our events – such as TEDx Esade & Startup Turbo – have included some of the best-known startups and investors in the entrepreneurial scene.

What do we do

• TEDx Esade: Our flagship idea-sharing event: a TEDx conference where students gather to spark meaningful conversations. Researchers, innovators, and storytellers come together to curate and deliver inspiring talks, igniting change through ideas.
• Startup Turbo: Our biggest Esade event: a hackathon which includes top students from Esade. Entrepreneurs, designers & programmers team up to create a startup idea to pitch in front of a panel of jury.
• UNEC: Our national entrepreneurship competition, where the finalists from other startup turbo events across Spain come together to compete and further develop their startups. We have collaborated with Hult Prize to be the national organizers offering the winner a chance at a 1-million-dollar prize in their global finals!
• The E3preneur Club: For those who want to be involved in our smaller exclusive events. You can sign up and get access to company visits, CEO dinners, workshops, and exclusive internship opportunities!

Who are we

We are Esade’s art association, dedicated to fostering creativity and raising artistic awareness among the Esade student body. We believe art is a way to explore deeper meanings, discover yourself, and connect with others. You don’t have to be an experienced artist to join. It is all about the process and having fun.

Our goal is to create a vibrant community where students from all programs and backgrounds can come together to explore art and discover new talents. Through our diverse range of events, workshops, and collaborations, we inspire creativity and self-expression within the Esade community.

What do we do

• Painting workshops: our painting workshops (on canvas, ceramics, or textile) allow students to express their creativity through various styles and techniques, whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist.
• Art holidays: we organize themed art sessions (Halloween, Christmas, Saint Valentine’s, etc.) where students can meet each other and experiment with various mediums in a relaxed and festive environment.
• Museum visits: we organize guided visits to some of Barcelona's finest museums and galleries, expanding your artistic knowledge and appreciation.
• More! We invite students to make pottery, jewelry, collages, and are always open to new ideas from our community.
• Discounts: The Studio is dedicated to making art more accessible to students, which is why we organize affordable events by covering as much of the expense as possible.

Who are we

We are a student chapter of the Thomistic Institute in Rome at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum.

The Thomistic Institute exists to promote Catholic truth in our contemporary world by strengthening the intellectual formation of Christians at universities, in the Church, and in the wider public square. The thought of St. Thomas Aquinas, the Universal Doctor of the Church, is our touchstone.

What do we do

We hold regular conferences on theology, philosophy, literature politics, and any topic that might further intellectual discourse at Esade. Moreover, we publish the first student-run cultural journal at Esade, Katejon. We also organize visits to cultural sites such as museums, monasteries and monuments.

Who we are

Transpose Magazine is the student-led publication at Esade. We operate at the intersection of global discourse and campus life, serving as a multi-cultural platform where business, politics, and entrepreneurship meet the arts and culture. 

Our mission is to capture the full diversity of the student experience. Whether it’s a deep dive into emerging market trends, a critique of a local art exhibition, or an inside look at campus events, Transpose Magazine is the primary record of our collective journey.

What we do

We bridge the gap between digital and print through: 

• Monthly Digital Editions: a high-quality digital issue featuring campus news, event recaps, and sharp commentary on global affairs. Find these on our website or sign up to receive them by email in the link below.
• The Bi-Annual Print Edition: Twice a year, we print a meticulously curated, physical volume that chronicles the year’s most impactful stories and creative achievements. Keep a look out on our social media to learn about the release to grab your free copy!

Join the Team

We are looking for a diverse team of thinkers and creators who are ready to document the world, and our campus, with professional rigor and creative flair. Join our team in different functions: 

• The Magazine Team: 
  Editorial & Journalism. We need writers who can pivot between a high-level analysis of global politics and an engaging feature on campus culture. If you have a strong command of English and a knack for finding the "story" in every event, we want your voice on our pages.
  Photography. From documentary-style coverage of campus events to creative portraiture for our arts features. You should be proficient in manual mode (DSLR/DSLM) and Lightroom.
  Creative Direction: Our members are responsible for the "Transpose" brand experience. You will manage our digital presence and lead the layout of our annual print edition. Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign/Illustrator) is a major plus.
• The Marketing Team: 
  Our members are responsible for the "Transpose" brand experience. You will manage our digital presence You will shape the design of our social platforms, ensuring that our visual content, from reels to posts, remains sophisticated and cohesive.  
• The Sponsorships Team: 
  This is the strategic backbone of our print publication. You will negotiate with external brands and local businesses to fund our physical edition and events, and manage discussions between shareholders. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• The Events Team:
  The Events Team brings the magazine to life. This team is responsible for numerous successful events such as Curated by Transpose, Gallery Talks and partnering with other student associations to build a more integrated and vibrant campus community.

2026 marks a historic milestone for Transpose. As we celebrate our 10th Anniversary, we invite you to be part of the most ambitious chapter in our history yet.
