Observatorio de Política Industrial Europea
EsadeGeo launched the Observatory of European Industrial Policy (OPIE) to analyze the return of European Industrial Policy and how it will impact Spain. The Observatory integrates academic knowledge with the experience of the main economic, industrial, and technological actors to offer a vision from Spain. OPIE uses policy briefs, podcasts, and workshops in Spanish and English to make an impact in the field. The Observatory is organized around two core issue-areas:
- European Industrial Policy
We focus on the analysis of the new Industrial Policy in the European Union and its international implications, considering economic, technological and security dimensions and its relationship with the climate transition. - Industrial Policy in Spain
We aim to understand the implications of the new European Industrial Policy for Spain, identifying measures to strengthen the Spanish techno-industrial system in a European context.
