Toyota Material Handling collaborates with the ESADE Scholarship Programme
The ESADE Foundation has reached an agreement with Toyota Material Handling España S.A., a division of Toyota Industries Corporation, the global leader in forklift manufacturing. Under the new agreement, Toyota Material Handling will contribute to the education of talented students by making a donation to the ESADE Scholarship Programme.
The aim of the Scholarship Programme is to ensure that more and more talented students with limited economic resources are able to study at ESADE. During the 2013-2014 academic year, scholarships were awarded to a total of 202 students in all of ESADE’s programmes – a 11% increase over the previous year.
The new agreement marks the first time that Toyota Material Handling has collaborated with ESADE. This effort to promote talent and equal opportunity is in line with the company’s corporate social responsibility and patronage policies.
ESADE’s educational offering aims to comprehensively train professionally competent and socially responsible individuals. Dedicated to talent, ESADE created its Scholarship Programme as a way to provide opportunities to young people who have an outstanding academic record but limited economic resources.
