GAES and Esade join forces to boost talent, diversity and equal opportunities for future leaders
Esade and GAES, an Amplifon brand, have entered an agreement to boost the education of talented young students, create impactful knowledge and contribute to social discussion. These three spheres of action constitute the basis of the co-operation between the two entities, focused mainly on the contribution to the Esade Scholarship Scheme, with a view to fostering equal opportunities, inclusivity and diversity in the classroom, whilst bolstering the education of socially responsible and academically excellent leaders of tomorrow.
The Amplifon Scholarship will cover the entire tuition fees of students with excellent academic records unable to otherwise afford them. This help is a commitment by both entities to the development and education of scholarship students, and providing advice and help throughout their education.
Lorenzo Fiorani, CEO of Amplifon in Spain, emphasized that “the education sector and business must collaborate and join forces from the start of students’ professional careers on developing and recruiting diverse talent. In this respect, we believe in enabling access to first-rate, excellent training programs like those provided by Esade as a way of making a positive impact, in the medium and long term, on individuals and also companies themselves and society in general.”
“Esade’s Scholarship Scheme is a strategic commitment and our best mechanism for increasing future learning opportunities for talented students. Thanks to help from socially responsible institutions and companies like Amplifon, we can pursue our determined efforts to support talent and contribute to progress and social justice” highlighted Xavier Mendoza, Esade director general.
Responsibility, sustainability and impact
In addition to the scholarship scheme, the Esade-GAES agreement spans the company’s corporate challenges in the realms of sustainability and social impact. Hence Esade will offer GAES advice and guidance about implementing corporate social responsibility procedures and achieving their sustainable development goals. To this end, Esade has provided GAES with a six-point plan under which they will work together to redefine GAES’s strategy and subsequently evaluate the scope and impact of their actions.
