ESADE starts the Multinational MBA programme and reaffirms its commitment to Latin America
ESADE is starting the 2014-2015 course with global training programmes in the Business School and the Law School. "What participants and companies want is excellent training with an international vision that enables career advancement in an increasingly global world," says the Director General of ESADE, Eugenia Bieto.
With these aims in mind, ESADE has looked to Latin America and developed the Multinational MBA (MMBA) together with the Adolfo Ibáñez School of Management (part of Adolfo Ibáñez University) based in Miami – ranked by América Economía as one of the best centres for Latin America. The programme focuses on Latin America and is aimed at entrepreneurs and managers with experience in senior management.
With a solid training concept that employs a practical, flexible, and innovative approach, the programme consists of eight modules that take place in Miami, Silicon Valley, Barcelona, Santiago in Chile, and Shanghai. The modules cover concepts such as strategies and pricing policies in different countries, strategic marketing, risk management between emerging and developed economies, and the global impact of Asia.
Lawyers Trained for the Global Environment and New Economic Landscape
ESADE Law School is also starting a Double Bachelor Degree in Law and Global Governance to train lawyers with a global economic vision who are able to practice anywhere in the world. The multidisciplinary degree programme is focused on law, geopolitics, international economics, and connects academia with business reality. Students will study at several universities and may choose between Asia, North Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Commonwealth countries.
With only 40 students per year, the programme aims to train high-level experts in international law. Classes are given in English and Spanish, and students must learn French, German or Mandarin Chinese.
Digital Marketing
Internet and social networks have an increasingly important role. ESADE is therefore integrating traditional marketing and sales programmes with digital marketing strategies.
An example is the new Commercial Management Programme (PDC) with courses in Barcelona and Madrid. This course consists of the Marketing Management Programme (PDM), Sales Management Programme (PDV), and the Indigital Digital Marketing and Sales Management Programme – all of which are key to understanding the change from traditional marketing to digital marketing and the needs of organisations as they adapt their sales and communication strategies.
