  • ESADE offers a PhD degree for students seeking academic and research careers in management.

    The PhD in Management Sciences was awarded in 2008-2009 with the Quality Label Recognition for PhD studies by the Spanish Ministry of Education. 

    The programme provides rigorous training in research skills and methodology, enabling our graduates to become leaders in management research and education in their respective fields. Faculty members and students work closely together in order to facilitate the publication of their work in leading journals, and thus enhancing students' opportunities in the competitive international market for academic staff.

    This is a full time programme and consists of two parts: the first part corresponds to the compulsory Master of Research in Management Sciences (MRes) and the second part is a supervised research period (3 to 4 years).  It is obligatory to have completed a structured period of training and research (MRes) to obtain a PhD.

    Participants' procedence: Participants admitted must have an interest in research in addition to an excellent academic transcript. The programme is open to graduates in any discipline who aim to study the main trends in Management Sciences and research methodologies from a theoretical perspective.

    Admissions Process: Starts October 2009 for 2010-2011 academic year. It is open until May 2010.
