On 7th and 8th July, ESADE will host the 7th International Conference on Mobile Business (ICMB 2008), which will focus on 'Creativity and Convergence'. The conference will feature appearances by leaders of the worldwide mobile revolution representing companies such as Orange, Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, EuroPraxis and Nokia. Participants will learn about new business models and prototypes in the industry, as well as new wireless services and mobile technology. The event is sponsored by Orange and the Secretariat for Telecommunications and the Information Society of the Catalan Government. It will be hosted by ESADE faculty members Jonathan Wareham and Xavier Busquets.
The invited speakers will include Stefan Klein of Münster University, Carsten Sørensen of the London School of Economics, and Eric van Heck of the Rotterdam School of Management.
