The Sant Cugat campus will be home to a new ESADE initiative: a third-generation park - a creativity park - which is the progression of the 1970s technology parks and the scientific parks of the 90s.
Creapolis will house both start-ups and more consolidated companies, a highly-attractive environment thanks to the interaction of creativity and knowledge offered by the academic world.
The ESADE Bachelor in Business Management and Administration will move to the campus, and the undergraduate (Bachelor) and postgraduate (Master) programmes as defined in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) regulations will be progressively introduced, as will the PhD in Management Sciences.
Phase one will welcome some 1,200 students and this figure will gradually increase until reaching a maximum of 1,600 once the EHEA regulations have been fully implanted by the 2011-2012 academic year.
The project includes a residence hall and restaurants/cafeterias, designed to welcome increasing numbers of students from outside Catalonia and from other countries as a result of the mobility offered by the introduction of the European Higher Education Area.
