ESADE and the prestigious design school Art Center College of Design signed a long-term agreement to collaborate in a variety of far-reaching education, research and design-oriented joint endeavours.
An indisputable highlight of the agreement was the staging for the first time in Europe of the event 'The Global Dialogues: Disruptive Thinking'.. In March 2008 world-renowned figures of contemporary thinking in the fields of culture, society and industry rendezvoused in Barcelona.
The agreement calls for the two institutions to create a joint platform for education, research and business networking that will contribute to the development and market orientation of the field of innovation and design.

'The Art Center Global Dialogues: Disruptive Thinking' is a key element of the agreement between the two schools, a long-term multi-faceted collaboration to create a new model which will enable the combination of critical design thinking with corporate strategy by means of advanced education. This joint project will spawn several content-based executive training, research and sector-oriented projects and programmes which will contribute to the development and market orientation of the field of innovation and design, as well as the application of innovation and design in social and cultural improvement.
In June 2008, Art Center and ESADE are offering an Executive Programme on Innovation in Leadership, the first executive training programme specifically developed to coach corporate leaders about the creative process. Participants will enjoy a hands-on focus which will enable them to understand how to manage and administer the design process towards positive and profitable innovation.
