Cementos Molins and ESADE Strengthening Links

    The cement company and ESADE have reached a donation agreement that will be used to fund grants and research projects

    Cementos Molins and ESADE have reached a donation agreement to fund grants and research projects. These funds will be used in three areas in the institution's strategic development: research, attraction of talent and university cooperation, and will be managed through an endowment (an in-perpetuity fixed fund).

    In recognition of this donation, ESADE will name one of the classrooms at the new Sant Cugat campus in honour of Cementos Molins and incorporate the company into the Corporate Relations Programme as partner.



REPSOL YPF promotes activities at ESADE's Institute for Social Innovation
    Repsol YPF and Fundació ESADE have recently signed a collaboration agreement through which the energy company will collaborate with ESADE's Institute for Social Innovation.
    This agreement will focus on research and training projects in the area of corporate social responsibility over the next two years.

    José María Pérez Garrido, Repsol YPF's Director of Corporate Reputation and Social Action, expressed his satisfaction with the signed agreement, commenting that, "The approaches of the Institute for Social Innovation agree totally with Repsol YPF's own approach regarding the role responsible companies should play in society".

    For Pérez Garrido, innovation implies value creation, which is an objective pursued by every organisation in terms of developing successful business projects. "We are backing this project with the conviction that the Institute will make an invaluable contribution towards companies being better for more people and for this to take place on a solid basis."
    According to Ignasi Carreras, Director of ESADE's Institute for Social Innovation, "Thanks to contributions from companies such as Repsol YPF, the Institute will be able to promote research in innovating subjects in the fields of corporate social responsibility, leadership and management of NGOs and other non-profit organisations, with the aim of contributing to a fairer and more sustainable world."


GAS Natural joins ESADE's Corporate Relations Programme
    Fundació ESADE and GAS Natural have recently renewed their collaboration agreement, continuing the partnership that has united both institutions since 1983.
    With the signing of the new agreement, Gas Natural joins the Partnership Circle as part of ESADE's Corporate Relations Programme. Through this collaboration the company will contribute towards developing ESADE's activities in the areas of training, research and debate.

CELSA and ESADE renew their collaboration commitment
    The Director General of ESADE and the President of CELSA, Carlos Losada and Francesc Rubiralta, respectively, have recently renewed the collaboration agreement that both institutions have been committed to since 1991.

    With the signing of the new agreement, CELSA will join the ESADE Corporate Relations Programme, within its Partnership circle, and through this partnership programme will contribute to the training of university students and executives over the new four years.

    According to the president of the global steel producers, CELSA, "A company's main value is its workforce. The CELSA group currently requires executives with a well-rounded education, who are entrepreneurs and, above all, people with a broad international outlook".

    Francesc Rubiralta highlighted the important role that ESADE plays in society, "given that it is a benchmark for the economic and business world, and the quality of the training and programmes it delivers, as well as the international character for which it has always been characterised, is well recognised".

    On the other hand, Carlos Losada has expressed his satisfaction at "companies such as CELSA working to strengthen links with the institution, because through supporting the development of talent they are demonstrating their firm commitment to social and commercial progress".


Figueras International Seating contributes to the construction of the new venue ESADEFORUM
    Figueras International Seating and ESADE recently signed a collaboration agreement under which the company, which specialises in public seating solutions, will donate material for the new venue ESADEFORUM on the Barcelona campus.

    ESADE's new ESADEFORUM is expected to become a nationally recognised gathering place that will welcome students, alumni, scholars, businesspeople, politicians and members of civil society to events of international importance.

    By signing this agreement, Figueras becomes ESADE's newest corporate partner and demonstrates its support for educational institutions.


e-la Caixa Extends Sponsorship Agreement with ESADE Guíame!
    E-la Caixa, a company wholly owned by "la Caixa", and ESADE Guíame!, a business information portal created by ESADE, recently extended their sponsorship agreement for two more years.

    This agreement will allow ESADE Guíame! to introduce technological updates to improve the web-based information services it offers. The portal currently offers industry flash reports, a selection of useful resources for learning about business opportunities in over 90 countries, company reports, an industry-based library, and a selection of articles from the economic and business sector press.

    The collaboration between these two organisations will facilitate the development of ESADE's highly respected business information portal in the coming years.

    ESADE Guíame! is an industry and business information portal that offers a breadth and depth of content unmatched in Spain or Europe. The project's main sponsors are "la Caixa" and the Provincial Council of Barcelona.
