Global Talent Forum

The Global Talent Forum (hereafter GTF) is the bridge between theory and practice. It is a global hub for all levels of business and executive talent.

Talent is a combination of expertise and skills, and its development is driven by deployment. GTF activities are based on the latest research results of neuroscience and the experience of practitioners. The forum through its various projects, offers the possibility to assess the talents, to learn how to develop talents, to explore how to deploy talents and to study how to track talent development.

Main activities and projects of the Global Talent Forum

We hope to establish future regional hubs in North America, Brazil, Germany, and Singapore together with partner organizations.

Talent is today the most important asset of any organization. Talented executives lead their organization to high performance. For this reason, acknowledged talented leaders are always sought after in the market place.

This two days workshop in alliance with executive education at ESADE, offers a unique opportunity to have a closer look at one’s own talent and to learn how to develop it to a master level.

The participants get to know the best practices and techniques to develop talent.
They learn to define their core talent and to develop it on the job. For this reason, they create an individual talent development plan.

The model used in this seminar is based on the latest research of neuroscience.

We realize, of course, that the content and the projects of the Global Talent Forum is very dynamic. Thus we will initiate, from time to time, new projects that will represent innovations connected with talent and the future world of Work. For example, researching new software to support the talent assessment or monitor talent development, to develop innovative metrics to measure talent, and the like. We also hope to develop specific projects for the public sector around the issues of Talent utilization.

The FWC offers executives the possibility to spend time at ESADE to actualize their executive development, to reassess their talent development or to work on specific projects in the area of the Future of Work.

Executives can participate in the activities of the GLOBAL TALENT FORUM and selected programs offered by ESADE, in particular, the Open Seminars and Executive Education programs. This opportunity offers executives a kind of “sabbatical” enabling them to reflect on their talent and the fit with future projects.

Talents at Work are a project that allows participating organizations to develop creative solutions for corporate business and key issues of management by working with selected ESADE programs. It is a unique opportunity to see top managerial talent at work. Selected high potentials from participating organizations can also be part of the working talents teams. Teams will work under the supervision of experienced ESADE faculty.

The working teams follow the framework of Smart Solutions. This is a new method based on three decades of experience in many different industries throughout the world. It enables people to find and implement smart solutions. It is a fully scalable method that addresses simple issues, strategic ones, and existential key issues alike. It can be used to create business cases for innovation and to move towards new ways of management and doing business. Depending on how creative the required solution is, the process enables the use of different levels of imagination and inspiration.

Our aim is to support the development of a Global Talent Network deploying the results of our research and development in the preferred areas of our partners. In the long run, we hope to create a Global talent Network Consortium.
