The <i>Financial Times</i> ranks ESADE's Master in Finance 5th best programme in the world
The programme takes first place worldwide for international projection
The ESADE Master in Finance has become one of the world's top choices for graduates looking to give their financial careers an additional boost. On 24th June, the Financial Times ranked it 5th best programme in the world globally, and 1st worldwide for international projection.
The results are promising, as it is the first year ESADE's MSc in Finance has participated in this ranking. "Entering for the first time in this ranking and positioning ourselves number five worldwide is an honour for us. It shows that participants, financial companies and organisations positively value the Master's international character and innovative methodology," said Professor Alfred Vernis, Director of ESADE University Programmes.
Graduates' professional advancement, the programme, the school's diversity and the students' international experience were among the main factors taken into account in the Financial Times ranking of best Master in Finance Programmes.

Best worldwide in international projection
The ESADE MSc in Finance's strong international focus was the aspect most valued by the Financial Times. The British newspaper ranked the programme 1st in the world in terms of graduates' international projection.
"My favourite part of the programme was getting a chance to interact with 67 other students from over 20 countries," said Lauren Russ, ESADE MSc in Finance student. "ESADE gave us the opportunity to develop real world skills in a real world environment. We were challenged to work in multi-cultural groups and build the skills necessary to move beyond the classroom and into the business world."
ESADE MSc in Finance participants come from 42 countries around the world. Asked about the multicultural experience in the classroom, MSc in Finance student Alexandra Sabaté said: "Classes are taught using a very practical focus and working in very diverse teams. I was put in a team formed by an American, a German, an Austrian, someone from Portugal and myself, from Spain. Working with people of different nationalities allows you to have a unique and very interesting learning experience."
Amongst the highest salaries
The Financial Times also ranked ESADE graduates’ salaries amongst the top 10 compared to those from other programmes participating in the ranking.
The average salary for ESADE MSc in Finance graduates three years after completing the programme rises by 23% compared to their salaries the first year.
The industries in which graduates work the most include finance (44%), consulting (40%) and technology (8%).
