Joaquín Duato, CEO of Johnson & Johnson, to Receive Esade Award

Duato will be presented with the award on 27th June at Teatre Nacional de Catalunya as part of the Esade Alumni Annual Conference, which will bring together more than 1,000 Esade graduates

Esade Alumni has announced the winner of the 2022 Esade Award: Joaquín Duato, CEO of Johnson & Johnson and Esade alumnus. Duato will receive the award during the Esade Alumni Annual Conference, which will take place on 27th June at Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.

Duato, who was appointed CEO in January 2022, has been selected as the winner of this year’s Esade Award for his responsible global leadership, as well as his innovative vision and commitment to having a positive impact on society. The Esade Alumni awards committee also appreciated Duato’s steadfast commitment to using technology as a driver of business transformation and social progress. The award also recognizes Duato for his role in leading the pharmaceutical company’s rapid response to health challenges arising from the pandemic.

The award will be presented during the 26th Esade Alumni Annual Conference, whose theme this year is “Building our future”. After receiving the award, Duato will discuss his experiences before an audience of more than 1,000 Esade graduates attending the conference.
