Gonzalo Gortázar, CaixaBank CEO, winner of the Esade Award

Award ceremony to take place during the annual Esade Alumni Day on June 19th at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya with more than 1,000 former Esade students in attendance

Esade Alumni has announced the winner of the Esade 2023 Award: Gonzalo Gortázar, CaixaBank CEO. Gortázar will receive the award during the Annual Esade Alumni Day on 19th June at the Teatre Nacional de Catalunya.

Gortázar, CEO of CaixaBank since 2014, receives the award in recognition of his responsible leadership and commitment to advancing towards a sustainable economy. The Esade Alumni awards committee also took into account Gortázar’s unwavering commitment to social responsibility, transparency and diversity throughout his professional career.

The award will be presented during the 27th Annual Esade Alumni Day, where Gonzalo Gortázar will share his experience with more than 1,000 Esade alumni attending the annual meeting, entitled 'Leading for impact', where he will share his thoughts on major global changes and transitions and how the challenges of sustainability and social responsibility can be addressed.
