Esade is the best business school in Spain according to QS ranking
Esade is the best university centre in Spain for studying a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) according to the QS World University Ranking. Esade Business School has climbed four places in this world ranking, up from 25th to 21st place, and is now Spain’s No. 1 Spanish business school in the QS ranking and 10th in Europe.
Gerard Costa, Associate Dean of the BBA at Esade Business School: “Esade is the No. 1 Spanish business school for a BBA thanks to the innovative learning experience and applied skills that we offer our students”. Costa also mentioned the “increased uptake amongst international students: 30% of our BBA students are already from outside Spain”.
The BBA at Esade is currently available in two language options: Spanish/Catalan or English. Seventy-five percent of students on the BBA in English are from outside Spain, resulting in a broad cultural spectrum that enhances the learning experience and the university setting. This year, 327 students will graduate with a BBA from Esade.
The QS ranking by subject is based on academic, employability and performance factors plus the impact of academic publications.
Employability and social responsibility
As regards the employability of Esade BBA graduates, 94% of students are in employment three months after graduating. BBA graduates work in a wide range of areas and industries including consulting (45% of graduates), finance, marketing and sales (21% respectively), business analytics (7%) and operations and logistics (4%). The main industries include consulting (62%), FMCG (14%), technology (11%), financial services (7%), retail and healthcare (3% respectively).
In addition, Esade forges links between business training and social responsibility, by enabling students to do international traineeships in countries such as Guatemala, Kenya and Cambodia in giving-back projects organised by Esade SUD (University Development Service). During their degree, students must take at least one subject involving a project that makes a social impact, thereby ensuring robust academic learning whilst engaging in the reality of today’s society.
Furthermore, the innovative methodology used by this programme combines solid academic training with in-depth, experiential learning featuring in-house case studies with the participation of foremost national and international companies that organise annual competitions in which students deal with real-life situations.
