ESADE in European top five - according to Financial Times business school ranking
For the fourth consecutive year, ESADE ranks among the top five European business schools – holding fifth position. This was announced today by the Financial Times in its ‘ranking of rankings’ (European Business Schools) which provides an overview of business schools by bringing together various programme rankings (Masters in Management, MBA, Executive MBA and Executive Education) published by the FT during 2015. This ranking confirms the position of ESADE in the European top five, alongside such prestigious international schools as the London Business School, HEC and INSEAD.
Eugenia Bieto, director of ESADE Business School, remarked: “The fact that ESADE has won top positions in all the Financial Times European rankings reflects the excellence of the school programmes and our ability to adapt to the changing economic and business environment, as well as the school’s great work in meeting the needs of students.
Internationalisation is a key factor
The internationalisation of ESADE was one of the factors most positively ranked by the Financial Times. ESADE is highly valued for the number of international companies who recruit students at the school, as well as the number of foreign participants in the classroom. One aspect that confirms the school’s commitment to multiculturalism is the growing importance of programmes aimed at diverse audiences and executive courses in multiple countries. The Full-Time MBA includes students from 38 nations and is ranked seventh in Europe. The design of ESADE programmes has been especially recognised, together with the school's commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship. The ESADE MBA programme is ranked in the top 10 worldwide for entrepreneurs.
Among the top ranked worldwide
The Financial Times ranked many ESADE programmes among the global top ten (2nd for Master in Finance, 4th for Master in Science (Master CEMS), 7th for Open Executive Education, and 8th for Executive Education).
In addition, the Financial Times ranked the international professional mobility of Master in Finance graduates as number one worldwide. Currently, over 90% of graduates in Master of Finance are contracted within three months of graduation, and 67% are contracted by leading international companies. This demonstrates that international firms still value quality education, global vision, and the ability of ESADE students to adapt to the labour market.
