In a global landscape shaped by geopolitical uncertainty, tech change and new social challenges, Esade is determined to help young people advance their future careers and enable the corporate world to be an agent of change. The first joint edition of its career fair constituted a meeting place where more than 2,000 students on 17 different programs (Bachelors, MSc, MBA, EMBA and Masters in Law) and 90 foremost companies were able to dialogue, exchange ideas and find real opportunities – demonstrating that young talent and businesses can join forces to create a more resilient, innovative and people-oriented future.

The Esade Career Fair, held at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya, brought together more than 400 professionals from Spanish and international firms including Amazon, McKinsey & Company, Banco Santander, Inditex, Novartis, Volkswagen, Grifols, Garrigues, Cuatrecasas, Baker & McKenzie, EY, PwC, Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley, to name but a few. This fair was largest the talent-business encounter in the history of Esade and forms part of its strategy to foster job opportunities. In the 2023-24 academic year, more than 90% of graduates found work within three months of graduation; 75% of graduates were recruited by key sectors such as consulting, tech and global industry; more than 4,200 personalized mentoring sessions were provided; and more than 400 companies took part in academic and corporate activities.

“We want this fair to give participants an experience of career advancement, guidance and direct connection with the real-world job market. The Esade 2025 Career Fair has been a unique opportunity enabling students to seize control of their career and enabling companies to discover the transformative talent that emerges from our classrooms,” said María José Verastegui, director of the Esade Career Services.

Leading companies believe in Esade talent

During the fair, human resources teams, managers from different business areas and alumni all mingled with students on Esade programs: an inspirational atmosphere for exploring career opportunities and future job prospects. It was also an outstanding place for companies to pinpoint talent and bolster their stance as employers within the Esade ecosystem.

In addition to their academic excellence, Esade students also stood out because of their language proficiency, and analytical and communication skills. But in addition to these technical skills, recruiters also praised their collaborative mindset, international adaptability and their desire to constantly learn and improve.

Experience for students and businesses

This career fair, held at the Palau de Congressos, hosted corporate stands, presentations, face-to-face interviews for traineeships and jobs, individual meetings with companies, panel discussions with Esade alumni, and themed activities designed to enhance students’ career advancement.

The fair also featured the keynote speech by the UN representative and Esade alumni Jordi Passola, ‘Navigating Uncertainty: Career Lessons for a Changing World’, during which he outlined the cornerstones of a robust career in uncertain, ever-changing scenarios.
