ESADE’s Master in International Management (MIM) is ranked sixth in the world and first in Spain in its category, according to annual rankings published today by the Financial Times.

“Sixth position for ESADE in the Financial Times international management ranking is our best ever position and puts us ahead of other Spanish business schools. The international mobility of our students is very important – and in this area ESADE ranks among the top three schools in the world,” said Alfred Vernis, Director of the ESADE University Programme Strategy Unit.

This award adds to the second place awarded to the ESADE Master in Finance programme by the Financial Times two months ago, and consolidates ESADE as one of the best schools in the world for Bologna masters programmes.

International mobility and career success

In the case of the ESADE Masters in International Management (MIM), the Financial Times highlighted international job mobility (3rd place) and successful career development of participants (6th place). The programme was also ranked seventh for participant satisfaction with the learning experience and goal achievement. Notably, more than 90% of participants obtained jobs in nations such as the USA, Germany, France, and Great Britain. This mobility is the result of various factors – including international internships, exchanges, and student visits to companies around the world.

ESADE Business School appears twice in FT ranking

ESADE’s international presence has also been the basis for the rise from seventh to fifth place for another master programme in which ESADE participates as the only Spanish business school – the CEMS. This European programme is the result of a strategic alliance of 27 business schools on four continents and 71 corporate partners – and annually includes over 700 participants from 50 nations. After completing the programme, participants obtain a master degree from their participating business school.

The CEMS Master’s in International Management is specifically designed for graduates and aims to meet the demands of companies seeking qualified young managers. The programme provides a high level of educational and professional experience for multilingual and multicultural postgraduates.
