Virtual reality

VR devices are exclusively available to Esade students, faculty, and staff.

On-campus use: Devices can be used for up to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Off-campus use: Devices can be borrowed for a maximum of 1 working day.

VR devices can be used in the Immersive Room at the Sant Cugat or Barcelona Library, where library staff will provide guidance and support.
They can also be borrowed for use in other campus spaces or at home independently.

VR devices must be reserved at least 48 hours in advance through the website. When picking up the device, you must present your physical TUI card or its digital version available in the Esade app.

You can borrow only one VR headset at a time.

• Keep the headset away from direct sunlight to prevent damage to the lenses.
• Avoid using alcohol or abrasive solutions to clean the headset.
• Store the device in the provided box.

• You are responsible for the condition and full return of the borrowed equipment.
• The device may only be used for authorized purposes and in compliance with Esade policies.
• Installing, modifying, or deleting any software on the device is prohibited.
• Late returns will result in a penalty of one week without access to the service for each day of delay.
• In case of damage or loss of the headset, you must replace it with an identical device or cover its full cost.
