About us

Our Story

Esade SUD’s origins can be traced back to our university’s early efforts in the development cooperation area. These began in the 1980s with faculty travelling to Central America to participate in local faculty training seminars and to teach in university master’s programmes.

Based on this tradition, we created Esade SUD in 2003 to make our community’s talent available to social enterprises, not-for-profits and institutions working for global justice in Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia and to further their work.
