Ignasi Carreras (Barcelona, 1957) is one of the leading figures in Spain’s social sector. He has spent most of his career at Oxfam Intermón, where he served as Director General and later as President until 2025. He was also Director of ESADE’s Institute for Social Innovation, which he founded, from 2006 to 2018; and he is currently President of the Equitat.org Foundation.
