In a world where comparisons constantly surround us, it is crucial to reflect on the habit of comparing ourselves to others. From an early age, we are exposed to comparisons in various aspects of our lives, whether in terms of health, education or even in sport.

This custom can create anguish and mental and physical health problems, as sociologist Harmut Rosa points out, who states that we often run not to reach a destination, but for fear of being left behind.

Understanding that each person has a unique combination of skills in different areas, we can free ourselves from constant comparison and focus on developing our own capabilities in the service of others.
