Last Friday March 15th took place the roundtable “A critical vision to European integration and EU foreign policy”. Co-organised by EsadeGeo and CIDOB, the rountable was a side event of  CIDOB’S flagship initiative War and Peace in the XXIst Century. Targeted at students, the side-event was also organised under the framework of the DigiDem-EU project, funded by the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values programme from the European Commission; and aimed to bring the debate about European integration, the future of the EU, and EU foreign policy challenges to new publics from a more critical perspective.

The initiative fostered a space for reflection and critical thinking, which counted with the participation of Júlia Manresa (EU Media Advisor), Natalie Nougayrède (Member of the European Council on Foreign Relations); Loukas Tsoukalis (President of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy): Jordi Molina (Senior Fellow of EsadeGeo) and Héctor Sánchez Margalef
(Researcher of CIDOB).
