Institute for Data-Driven Decisions
The Data Driven Decisions Research Institute is centered on understanding and analyzing human decisions based on data sciences and artificial intelligence techniques and centered on a responsible use of data for a good impact on society.
Special attention is given to topics oriented towards understanding the complexity of human judgements and decisions involving marketing processes, where intangible aspects of cognition processes such as behavior and emotion are highly relevant. In this direction, features related to the changing external market environments and nuances that affect humans in decision-making are considered through data science and artificial intelligence techniques.
The Esade Institute for Data-Driven Decisions (EsadeD3) addresses this highly strategic topic by focusing on data sciences on impactful decision making, for organizations and society.
Applied research, dissemination, and diffusion of scientific activities of the group members are going to be mainly oriented to the innovation in marketing through understanding how the new technological changes introduced in artificial intelligence will impact on understanding decision-making processes.
