→ We estimate that GDP in the first quarter of 2026 will grow by +0.7% quarter-on-quarter.
→ This estimate has edged down slightly since the start of the quarter.
→ Central scenario: growth. We assign a high probability to growth similar to that of the previous quarter.
→ The estimate is driven by recent employment, industry and construction indicators, now joined by PMI and leading indicators.
→ Although it is very early for a firm annual forecast, we anticipate lower growth in 2026 than in 2025.
