The Principles of International Management

The objective of this "hands-on" module is to further the student's knowledge of the concepts of international management and to impart an international perspective on issues concerning management change and solutions, in particular, ethical questions related to CSR.

January is dedicated solely to the student's preparedness for the business world through improving in critical change areas such as self-assessment and coaching.

International Study Tours
Intensive weeks abroad provide the opportunity for students to experience different cultures first-hand, reflect on how situations inspire them and give the chance to apply knowledge gained during the first term.

Seminars orientated towards the development and refinement of key management skills and competencies take place, including what leadership means and the tools needed to lead effectively.

Research project

The Research Project is a key element of the Master in International Management Programme. This challenging module places great emphasis on personal initiative and disciplined study in which the student may choose the field or theme they wish to research:
  • Through the creation of a business project: The project is concentrated on fostering entrepreneurship concurrent with socially responsible business behaviors.
     
  • Through an In-Company Business Project: In a Spanish or international company; some students will gain international work experience but all will have the invaluable opportunity to put acquired theory into practice.
     
  • Through the completion of a thesis: This clearly demonstrates your analytical and in-depth research abilities, writing communication skills and presentation techniques where applicable.
