The Esade Admissions Test
This is a 3-hour test to assess your profile when applying for admission to Esade degree programmes.
What does it consist of?
- The multiple choice test is sat in Spanish or English, depending on the programme you have applied for. For each question you have to choose the correct option from among various possible answers. Points are deducted for wrong answers.
- The English level test consists of one essay in English and a multiple choice test, in which points are not deducted for mistakes.
BBA – Bachelor of Business Administration
The admissions test for the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) consists of the following parts. Candidates who have applied for admission to the English section must sit the test in English:
- Multiple choice test in three sections, which assess:
- Sufficiency of information (30 minutes): To assess your ability to interpret texts fluently, correctly applying the mental processes associated with the categorisation of verbal concepts and information, correctly detailing the main, supporting and/or complementary ideas to draw correct conclusions from a written text.
- Numerical analysis (35 minutes): To assess your ability to carry out operations with numbers, figures and/or arithmetical signs and to choose the correct answer quickly and precisely from a series of results.
- Logical reasoning (35 minutes): To assess your ability to identify logical criteria applied to sequences.
- English level test (90 minutes): Writing and exercises.

Bachelor in Law
The admission test for the Bachelor in Law consists of the following parts:

The admissions test for the Bachelor in Transformational Leadership and Social Impact consists of the following sections.

- Sufficiency of information (30 minutes): To assess the student’s ability to interpret texts fluently, correctly applying the mental processes associated with the categorization of verbal concepts and information, detailing correctly the main idea, supporting and/or complementary ideas to draw correct conclusions from a written text.
- Numerical analysis (35 minutes): To assess the student’s ability to carry out operations with numbers, figures and/or arithmetical signs and to choose the correct answer quickly and precisely from a series of results.
- Logical reasoning (35 minutes): To assess the student’s ability to identify logical criteria applied to sequences.

Can I prepare for this test?
Esade's test does not assess knowledge. Therefore, there is no subject matter that can be studied in advance in order to get a good grade.
However, you can consult a sample test on this website in order to have an idea of the kind of things you might be asked.

What grade do I need in order to be accepted?
You do not pass or fail the Esade admissions test. It is simply used to create a profile of the applicant who wishes to study for a Bachelor's degree at Esade. This is why you can only take the admissions test once every academic year.
The admissions test is only one of the elements taken into consideration during the admissions process. Equal weighting is given to the information provided on your application form and in your academic record.
How can I register for the test?
In order to take the Esade admissions test, you need to fill in the online application form for the programme you want to take, at least one week before the test is due to be held. You must also take the admissions test on the date stated in your exam confirmation letter.
If you are unable to take the test that day, you can ask for the date to be changed, giving your reasons together with at least one week's notice. Please note that if you miss two of the scheduled dates for taking the admission test and still wish to sit it, you will have to pay another processing fee (€135 ).
How many admissions tests are held each year?
The Esade Admissions test is offered online.
The undergraduate admissions department schedules several admission tests every week, from October to June.
