ESADE hosted the second edition of the MBA Recruitment Fair on its Sant Cugat campus this week. This gathering brought students from ESADE’s Full-Time MBA into contact with institutions and companies from various sectors and countries, including the United Nations, Amazon Brazil, Grifols, Restaurant Brands International (Burger King), Allianz and Prosegur. Representatives had the chance to meet Full-Time MBA students and extend offers for internships and full-time positions, putting the students on track to eventually become executives within these organisations.

A new feature of this year’s event was the addition of the High-Growth Event, which put ESADE students with an entrepreneurial profile into contact with rapidly expanding companies that have outgrown the startup phase.

Maria Obiols, Career Services Director at ESADE, commented: “ESADE’s MBA programme and the job fairs organised by the school enable students to develop a career in any field or sector, or to advance their career and achieve a position of responsibility at an international company that recognises the added value of ESADE students.” The international employers that recruit at ESADE are attracted not only by school’s global talent but also by the students’ recognised capacity for innovation and teamwork, as well as their notable ability to transform and improve organisations.

Professional development in other countries

ESADE MBA students remain in high demand in Spain and abroad. Ninety percent of participants in the ESADE Full-Time MBA secured employment within three months of graduating, with 91% moving a new industry, functional area or location. Eighty-one percent were chosen directly by international companies for management positions, often in far-flung corners of the world. While 51% opted to stay in Europe, 17% accepted an offer in Latin America, 14% in Asia, 9% in North America and 6% in the Middle East. According to the latest job-placement data, the most popular sectors among ESADE MBA graduates are industry (34%), technology (30%) consulting (12%) and financial services (5%).
