Bloomberg Businessweek has published a new ranking this week based on student satisfaction, with the ESADE Full-Time MBA placing in the global top 5 for educational experience and #1 worldwide for mixture of academics and business professionals.

Josep Franch, Dean of ESADE Business School, commented: ‘This ranking of student satisfaction shows that, in addition to prestige and academic excellence, educational experience plays a key role in students’ choice of programme and business school. The recognition of ESADE as the world’s #1 school for mixture of academics and business professionals is a result of our efforts to close the gap between the classroom and the real world.’

By categories, the ESADE Full-Time MBA was ranked #1 worldwide in mixture of academics and business professionals, #2 worldwide in healthy supportive competition, and #5 worldwide in skills directly applicable to real-world business situations, inspiring ethical careers and connecting to international recruiters. Moreover, the ESADE programme was ranked #1 in Europe in the aforementioned categories.

‘For years, ESADE has been committed to investing in a unique, innovative and transformational educational model in the university sector as well as in executive education,’ commented Dr. Franch. ‘Under our model, students have a unique educational experience characterised by a combination of academic and professional training in terms of both knowledge and skills applicable to real-world business situations.’

In addition to assessing each programme’s excellence in training and career development, the ranking also considers aspects such as healthy supportive competition and teamwork in the classroom as well as the capacity to inspire ethical careers. In each of these areas, ESADE was ranked in the global top 5 and #1 in Europe. ‘The hallmark of ESADE has always been the school’s focus on teamwork and skills directly applicable to real-world business situations and commitment to society from the perspective of professional leadership,’ commented Dr. Franch. ‘Therefore, being ranked as Europe’s top school in these areas is just about the best possible recognition of our efforts.’

The ranking was based on the opinions of 10,500 graduates of 125 business schools who were interviewed as part of Bloomberg Businessweek’s traditional Full-Time MBA ranking.
