Over 400 students from ESADE’s various MSc programmes graduated in a ceremony that had an audience of more than 1200 people. The graduands represented some 50 countries, showing just how international ESADE programmes are.

The new graduates included the first cohort of students from the MSc in Business Analytics (MIBA) programme, who graduated together with those taking other MSc degrees: MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship; MSc in Finance; MSc in Research in Management Sciences; MSc in International Management; MSc in Marketing Management.

During the moving ceremony, the delegates from each programme expressed their gratitude for the whole experience. For instance, Vitoria Talientto, graduate in MSc in Business Analytics, stressed that: “What’s most important is that they understand that one can achieve the best result and shine the brightest only by letting others shine with them. These qualities make the best entrepreneurs but what in my opinion is even more important is that they make the best kind of people”. Oliver Felice, a graduate of the MSc in Finance, stressed the quality of relationships with his classmates: “You all inspired me throughout the year and I’m sure we will continue to inspire one another going into the future; be it as friends, colleagues or partners, and in a business-related context or otherwise”.

Last but not least, Siddhanth Shetty, noted that “Life at ESADE was never about just the studies. This beautiful city came packaged along with the Masters. I could not have chosen a better set of people to have shared this year with.”

The event was brought to a close by the Dean of the ESADE Business School, Josep Franch, who urged the new graduates “Not to fear failure or risk” and to apply their great talents to “changing the world for the better”.
