Topics covered
Risk capital is part of the business world that surrounds us. The sub-prime mortgage crisis has hit the liquidity of the capital markets, but how has it affected risk capital in Spain? What fallout should we expect? What will risk capital be like in coming years?
This session gives an in-depth definition of both aspects of risk capital: investment in the initial stages of a company, or "venture capital", and investment in mature companies, or "private equity". We will also explore its evolution and performance so we can apply its model to other companies.
Finally, we will analyse the current state of the markets, and the opportunities and challenges they offer to risk capital companies and companies seeking this type of funding. The session will be attended by experts from the sector who will share their experience and the keys to the risk capital business.
