Higher Education Programme in Economics and Finance

ONCE

With co-funding from the European Social Fund as part of the Operative Programme to Combat Discrimination, the ONCE Foundation has organised two 100% subsidised higher education programmes for unemployed people with a disability percentage of at least 33%.

The main objective of this programme is to provide tools for designing and implementing the best financial strategies at a company in a given environment.

The purpose, design and methodology of the course provide students with instruments that allow them to immediately apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their day-to-day work in the business world.

  • Students will improve their professional performance in the financial area and other relevant areas.
  • Thanks to the concepts and skills presented in the programme, students will improve their professional knowledge and be inspired to take a necessary step forward in their careers.

Admission requirements:

  • Disability certificate.
  • Unemployment documents.
  • University degree in a related field: Economics and Business Science, Industrial Engineering, Law, or Business Administration.
  • At least two or three years’ experience in a related field (accounting, finance, auditing, banking, etc.).

Students who meet the following requirements may also be admitted, with the approval of the Evaluation Committee:

  • Disability certificate.
  • Unemployment documents.
  • Diploma in a related field: Economics and Business Science, Industrial Engineering, Law, or Business Administration.
  • At least three years’ experience in a related field (accounting, finance, auditing, banking, etc.).

OR

  • Disability certificate.  
  • Unemployment documents.
  • University degree in an unrelated field: other engineering degrees, etc. 
  • At least three years’ experience in a related field (accounting, finance, auditing, banking, etc.).
The scholarship covers the registration fee and the cost of the course materials. Students who live outside of the Community of Madrid will receive an additional 475 euros per month for housing costs throughout the course. (Lunch is provided as part of the programme.) Students from Madrid will receive the cost of the monthly transport ticket they need to commute from their homes.

Monday to Wednesday, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm and 3.30 to 6.30 pm; Thursday, 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
