Program for Management Development (PMD®) - Oviedo

The programme enables students to acquire a global vision of their company and the competencies required to lead teams and make effective decisions. Specifically, students will develop:

• A strategic vision and global perspective on management. 
   
• Knowledge of key business functions and how they are interrelated.
   
• A better understanding of the business environment.

ESADE's PMD® is designed for high-potential professionals who carry out executive functions in any of various functional areas within an organisation, executives who occupy management positions in small and medium-sized companies, and entrepreneurs or owners of businesses with the potential for growth. 
 
Each with at least five years of executive experience, students in this programme are drawn from a variety of sectors and types of businesses, in order to create an environment of plural, cooperative learning.

Management skills
In-depth, hands-on knowledge of the criteria and work methods of organisational management.

Executive competencies
The programme is an ideal space for students to analyse and reflect on their executive competencies and leadership abilities. Under our specific methodology, students have the opportunity to define their own strategy of personal development and skill acquisition.

Personnel management and training
The key function of any executive is the ability to make an organisation grow by helping collaborators and members of work teams to grow personally: this is one of the main objectives of learning.

Methodological diversity
The programme draws on various learning and development tools, some for use during the programme and others for continuous use by the participants over the course of their professional lives.
