Studying a subject, formulating questions that are raised through analysis, reflecting on these questions and, if appropriate, attempting to answer them, are all elements of what we call ‘research’. Sometimes, the result contributes to social debate by providing data or ideas that others will use to formulate proposals. On other occasions, it involves creating directly applicable knowledge. In both cases, the intellectual activity involved, and the effort that this often requires, contribute to the maturation of knowledge itself and how this knowledge is explained or passed on. This is why research produces better teachers. Here, you will find an overview of the research work conducted in our faculties.
