    SANT BENET III: Political leadership and intellectual leadership
     
    The 3rd Conference for Reflection and Debate in Sant Benet de Bages was held on 29th and 30th September 2008. In collaboration with the Caixa Manresa savings bank, the ESADE Chair in LeadershipS and Democratic Governance attempted to focus on the reflection begun the previous year on key leadership in advanced societies. For this it posed the question Politicians without ideas, intellectuals without power? During this 3rd Conference, the focus was specifically on political and intellectual leadership. The Chair, through renowned experts, proposed an in-depth exploration of these issues to identify the elements which can help us continue moving forward and advancing. Where are we now? What is the current prognosis? What expectations do we have as a country in this respect?
