The Profession in Action immersion week is a voluntary activity specially designed for MSc students that want a career in the Brand Management/Communications and Sales areas. The purpose of this initiative is to offer students a view of real Marketing professionals' day-to-day responsibilities in their own work environments and to be able to personally see the different approaches to the various Marketing roles and responsibilities in different markets and companies.
The 5-day fully immersive programme allows students to dive into the different professional roles by visiting a set of chosen companies that will give the participants an overview of specific positions and their different tasks and responsabilities, including the key partners (providers) with which they have to deal. The goal is to give students insights on different industries, working with large inyternational companies such as Codorniu, Telefónica, Nestlé and L’OREAL as well as local firms and, creative agencies as key providers/partners.
The 2017 edition of the Profession in Action was held in January and consisted of 3 days in Barcelona and 2 days in Madrid for each specialisation, with a total of 29 company visits.
