Official Academic Certificates

Academic certificates (transcripts and / or undergraduate degree)

One of the basic prerequisites for applying for the MSc programmes is an undergraduate degree equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree. Applicants are required to submit official university transcripts and diploma (if the degree granted is not shown on the transcripts). These certificates must be issued in the original language. Any documents which are not in Catalan, Spanish or English must be submitted with an official translation into one of these languages.

Scanned copies can be accepted during the admissions process.

Admitted candidates will be required to send originals or certified copies of the transcripts and diploma. In order to obtain the official university degree of the Master in Science these documents must meet the requirements detailed in this document, which also includes the answers to the most frequently asked questions.

Language Accreditation

All participants must have substantial knowledge of English: native English speaker or minimum score of TOEFL (IBT 100 or CBT 250), IELTS (7.0, Academic test), Cambridge (Proficiency) or Academic Pearson (68).

ESADE only accepts official TOEFL scores send directly to ESADE from ETS. Our institution code is 0507. Cambridge and IELTS certificates are also accepted and must be originals or certified true copies.

If you are a native English speaker or you have completed your Bachelor's Degree in English, you may be exempt from the requirement to take a language test. If your bachelor degree was taught entirely in English (+ 120ECTS), please send us a certificate from your university (i.e., diploma supplement) stating the language of instruction.

The submission of two recommendation letters is required as part of the application process. These can be from professional and/or academic referees. Your recommendation letters will be used to evaluate global mindset and personal motivation.

You will need to introduce your referees' information in your on-line application form and they will be automatically required to fill in an on-line recommendation letter.
