    Professor Jan Brinckmann is an advisory board member of the European Commission's FACE Entrepreneurship (failure aversion change in Europe) project. He is the author of FACE Entrepreneurship's Delphi Study.

  • Is microcredit a blessing for the poor?

    Myrto Chliova, PhD candidate and ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI) researcher, and Jan Brinckmann, professor and EEI researcher, together with co-author Nina Rosenbusch have won the Best Paper Award at the 2013 Babson conference on public policy with their meta-analysis titled: Is Microcredit a Blessing for the Poor?

  • Step Project for family enterprising

    Directed by Professor Alberto Gimeno at ESADE. This is a project instigated in 2005 by Babson College (USA) and developed by six business schools around the globe: ESADE (Spain), HEC (France), Jönköping International Business School (Sweden), Universita Bocconi (Italy), Universität St. Gallen (Switzerland), Universität Witten/Herdecke (Germany), and Babson College (USA).

    The White Paper on Entrepreneurship in Spain is a study commissioned by the Prince of Girona Foundation and directed by Professor Luisa Alemany and Professor Marcel Planellas of the ESADE Entreprneurship Institute (EEI). Other team members included David Urbano (UAB) and researcher Claudia Alvarez.

    For the seventh year running, Professor Jan Brinckmann of ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI) and Professor Dietmar Grichnik of Universität St. Gallen, Switzerland, have furthered their research into the success factors for new companies. Their findings were published in the acclaimed Journal of Business Venturing.

  • Pitching and communication strategies for entrepreneurs

    Professor Jaume Villanueva, ESADE Entrepreneurship Institute (EEI), and Professor Harry Sapienza, University of Minnesota, have continued to develop their research on the effects of storytelling, and other pitch communication pitch strategies have on project evaluations by potential investors.
