Welcome to Esade – MWC 4YFN 2023

Under the “Entrepreneurship through the EdTech Perspective” slogan, Esade is in charge of 4YFN’s EdTech program of activities and debates, underscoring its commitment to the business community and coinciding with the 30th anniversary of the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute.

Esade will explore issues such as how AI and the metaverse will transform education, the new EdTech trends we’ll see in 2023 and the role women play in the AI field.

We look forward to seeing you from February 24th to March 2nd, 2023, in Hall 8.1 in the Fira de Barcelona exhibition center located on Gran Vía, and hope you take part in all our scheduled activities.

In this session, Ivan Bofarull, Chief Innovation Officer at Esade, will share Esade’s innovation thesis, and then moderate a panel with three rock stars in the space of futurism (Cecilia Tham), online education (Giuseppe Auricchio) and healthcare (Jorge Juan Fernández). Their common goal: to reimagine the university of the future. Will university still be the realm of traditional players? Or new players in the edtech space will emerge as the dominant ones? What about a hybrid model? Both mainstream and contrarian thinkers are welcome to join this session.

In this challenge organized by Esade, Deloitte and 4YFN, Esade’s MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship students will show the knowledge acquired in the master's degree course to select the best startups for 4YFN. The six selected groups will make a pitch explaining in detail the reasons for their selection.
