Admissions

Candidate Requirements

Professional experience is NOT REQUIRED to be admitted to any of our MSc Programs in Management.

If you have more than two years of professional experience, you should consider applying for the MBA.

If you are in the final year of your Bachelor’s degree, you are welcome to apply by submitting a partial transcript and completing your documents upon graduation.

Admission Process

Esade is committed to offering equal opportunities to all candidates. Therefore, Esade does not discriminate against any candidate based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, age, marital status, political belief, disability, or any other factor that could interfere with candidates being evaluated on an equal basis in the admissions process of its programs.

You can apply for two programs at the same time but do not send two applications. Simply submit your application to your preferred program and indicate your second choice.

Please note this is a full-time program, hence, as a student, and with the exception of internships, you will be expected to dedicate yourself full-time to your studies.

If you need a visa to study in Spain, please check current immigration requirements; note that, as of May 2025, regulations require you to apply for your student visa at least 60 days before the program begins. We therefore recommend starting your admission process early, so you can request your visa appointment as soon as possible.

Application Calendar: The MSc Admissions timeline

As we run a rolling admissions process, please check the staged application deadlines to discover when you should complete your application and when you will receive a decision. The sooner you apply the better.

You do not need to wait until you have all the supporting documents to submit your online application. Please note that after having completed your online application, you will need to access the portal again to submit the supporting documents and finalize your application.

Applications are considered complete once we have received your online application and all the supporting documents have been manually validated.

After completing your online application form, submitting all the required documentation, and having your official interview, the Admissions Committee will assess your application and we will let you know their final decision. This process takes approximately one month.

Toward the end of May, there may be very few places left for your first program of choice, so it is worth having a second option. Check with your contact in the Admissions Team to stay up-to-date with the status of your program choices.

Wisdom Pill: “Cross-cultural Management” by Prof. Dr. Daniela Noethe

“Cross-Cultural Differences” by Dr. Daniela Noethen, Academic Director of the MSc in International Management This class gives you a first-hand impression of what it means to study at ESADE and experience a student-focused, interactive learning approach. Moreover, with ESADE being such a diverse and multi-cultural learning environment, the class will give you an introduction to the meaning and importance of culture, its influence on our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, in and outside of organizations. You will get a glimpse of the vast differences that exist between different cultures and how they affect management practices. Biography: Daniela Noethen holds a PhD in Business Administration (Jacobs University Bremen, Germany) as well as a Diploma in Psychology (bachelor plus master, University of Bonn, Germany), and spent a year studying Psychology at the University of British Columbia (Canada). Her research focuses on global mobility and expatriation, looking at both the management of expatriates and the expatriate experience. Studying traditional corporate expatriates sent on temporary assignments, their selection, knowledge transfer and performance, as well as other forms of expatriation and global mobility (e.g., split family expatriation or expatriates who decide to stay), she contributes to the growing knowledge base on how to manage employees and make important career and family decisions in a globalized world.
