Celebrating the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute’s 30th anniversary is a great opportunity to recognize the work we have already carried out and double our efforts to continue promoting entrepreneurship.
Esade’ many initiatives have created a vibrant and active ecosystem that helps students who want to launch new ventures.
Esade has built an entrepreneurial ecosystem that has become a benchmark in Europe and among the best in the world. Our students learn to become entrepreneurs and launch new ventures that help create a better society.
Entrepreneurship at our core
Entrepreneurship has been present at Esade since its foundation in 1958. ‘Business Promotion’ was first taught in the undergraduate program in 1963. ‘Business Startups’ was first offered in 1984, and then in the MBA in 1986, and in Executive Education a year later.
To celebrate these first 30 years of the Esade Entrepreneurship Institute, various events are planned to give a boosting entrepreneurship to Esade students.

Esade’s entrepreneurship ecosystem
Esade’s decades-long teaching experience, and its active methodologies based on our ‘student first’ approach prepare our students to be the entrepreneurs who can build a better world. Over the past 30 years, we have been creating a thriving entrepreneurship ecosystem that connects students, faculty, and alumni through innovative classes, project-based activities, and vibrant student associations. Supported by resources like the Rambla of Innovation, eWorks, and eGarage, our community extends globally, and benefits from the active Esade Business Angels network and prominent business events in Barcelona. The EEI continues inspiring future entrepreneurs to define new paths towards the future – and we will continue celebrating new anniversaries with our current and prospective students.
